Who we are
DKE Services ("we", "us") provides solar, battery and electrical services in South East Queensland. This policy covers personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry form, we collect what you give us, typically:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your postcode and, if you provide it, your property address
- Details about your property, power usage and what work you're after
- Anything else you type into the message field
Our web host also records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, as part of normal server operation.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, carry out work you engage us for, and keep records we're required to keep. We may also use your contact details to follow up on an enquiry you've made.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We may share it where necessary with service providers who help us operate, for example our web host, form handling service and email provider. And with regulators, network operators or rebate administrators where a job requires it. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies, embeds and analytics
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies of our own, and we do not run analytics on this site.
Three third-party services are loaded into some pages, and each may set its own cookies or record that your browser requested something from it:
- Google Maps on the contact page, showing our service area. Google may set cookies and receives your IP address when the map loads.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces used across the site and receives your IP address when a font is fetched.
- Featurable, which displays our Google reviews on the home page.
None of these are used by us to profile or advertise to you. If analytics or advertising tools are ever added, this section must be updated to say which ones, what they collect, and how to opt out.
How we store it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No online transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable period.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we'll try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
